Possible but unlikely, existing shareholders of bank would find that unfair, but a price of 45 pay be possible, which would still mean about 1.9-2 shares ratio...

Would lower price for idfc first bank and idfc mean that investment into idfc first bank of amc proceeds will now happed lower value ..? it might imply a much higher meger ratio of around 2.4 to 2.5...
